At the heart of inspiring others to be courageous, especially women of color, is vision, purpose and creativity. This RVA native doesn’t color in the lines. She’s not new to turning ideas and eureka moments into full pursuits that can be monetized. And what you’ll experience today has been years in the making. In high school she studied writing and performing arts around the way at the Appomattox Regional Governor's School. In college, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising. Shayla knew she had found her place in the world as a fashionista and personal stylist. But the life of serial entrepreneur isn’t linear. It’s a jungle gym.

And in 2016, she took a pivotal leap into a new and innovative space, wine entertainment and luxury for black women. All of this while still embracing the fine art of side hustling.
