  • DANIELLE WILLS

    OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER

    Danielle Wills is a serial entrepreneur, wife, and mom of five.

    She follows in the footsteps of her grandmother, mother, and many others, paving the way for coming generations by creating and supporting local businesses.

    She began her entrepreneurial journey at age 14 teaching dance and piano lessons and later running her own in-home daycare for 8 years to be home with her children and make an income.

    To date, she has pursued several entrepreneurial endeavors and passion led businesses ranging from birth work to photography and event planning.

    In her late twenties, she made a significant impact in Colorado as the Digital Marketing Director and Online Community Manager for Sistahpreneurs and Communications Manager for Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce.

    She currently champions for black women serving on the Operations Team for The Black Girl Social Club and on the board for BGSC Jr.

    She supports her husband's start-up, Love Right Now, as standing COO where they spread love and Aloha through community events and community service.

    Combining her love for seeing small businesses succeed and passion for helping black entrepreneurs like her fulfill their dreams, she has several business coaching clients, paving a way for coming generations by creating and supporting local businesses.

    She founded the Hawaii Black Chamber of Commerce in 2023 and serves as the President of the Board and Executive Director.

  • ARKIA BROWN

    OPERATIONS INITIATIVE COORDINATOR

    Arkia Brown or Kia as most call her is a native of Norfolk, VA and a proud Third-Generation alumnus of Norfolk State University, where she obtained her degree in Public Policy. Presently, she resides in Richmond, VA, where she works as a Policy Analyst Supervisor for the State of Virginia. Dubbed as “Olivia Pope” by her friends, she is known for being a fixer, the voice of reason, and the one who always has a resource and a resolution. She is a skilled change champion with over 12 years’ experience in organizational development, program and policy structure design, and the development of compliant business processes.

    Raised in a family who has a long and documented history of servant leaders, Arkia lives a life dedicated to causes larger than herself, such as Social Action, Civic Duty, Criminal Justice Reform, and Mental/Behavioral Health awareness. Arkia is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Order of Eastern Star, PHA, The National Urban League Young Professionals and several other public service organizations. She is also the owner and CEO of Asante Consulting Group, which works with small minority owned businesses and individuals in areas of branding, digital marketing, business and project development. In her spare time, Arkia is an avid traveler, reader, and loves hosting game nights with her friends. She often coordinates small and large-scale events throughout her community and several throughout the Country as she’s worked with several International known organizations, entertainment, media, and promotion companies.

    Arkia joined the Black Girl Social Club Richmond Chapter in May 2020 as a member and later served as the Chapter President. She was awarded the ‘President of the Month’ in Oct 2021 and the ‘President of the Year’ at the August 2022 BGSC International Unity Conference. Arkia stepped down from her role as President to become the International Director of Culture and Engagement in July 2022 where she worked to foster a positive and productive environment for BGSC leaders across the world.

    Keeping in line with the meaning of her name, Arkia considers herself ’strong woman of pride’ with great principle and integrity; a cheerleader and visionary; but also, someone who is fun, courageous, supportive and always authentically herself.

  • RAQUEL ISAAC

    MEMBER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

    Raquel Isaac, a 26-year-old Trinidadian American woman raised in Colorado, holds two bachelor’s degrees in public health and ethnic studies from the University of Colorado Denver. Her academic pursuits reflect her deep-seated concerns regarding the intersection of health, identity, and race.

    With a fervent belief that every individual deserves a dignified life simply for existing, Raquel seeks to create spaces where people are acknowledged and valued beyond their achievements and societal standards of success. Her career aspirations are molded by her unwavering commitment to health equity and her experience in pioneering research methodologies.

    During her leisure time, Raquel finds joy in the company of family and friends. Her interests encompass fitness, sports, literature, writing, and exploring diverse culinary experiences.
