SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALIST

With deep Southern roots in Vacherie, Louisiana—where sugarcane fields stretch for miles and the Mississippi River carves its path—Kassidy always knew she was destined for more.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Arts with double minors in Political Science and English from Clark Atlanta University in 2022, Kassidy immersed herself in the dynamic world of social media marketing. She has worked with renowned organizations such as The Chicago Tribune, ColorComm, Shedavi, and Hope Givers, leveraging her expertise to elevate their digital presence.

Beyond her professional roles, Kassidy has built a thriving personal brand, Miss Kassidy J, collaborating with top beauty and lifestyle brands, including Miss Lola, Benefit Cosmetics, Just Fab, Estée Lauder, Tymo, Laifen, and more.

Her passion for storytelling extends into journalism, where she writes for Scholastic's classroom magazines, interviewing individuals worldwide and contributing to educational content for future generations.

A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kassidy is dedicated to amplifying diverse voices in media and helping brands authentically connect with their audiences. Looking ahead, she hopes to mentor upcoming content creators in the same way others have mentored her.

Now, Kassidy is excited to return to The Black Girl Social Club as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. “It’s both a blessing and a privilege to curate content for those who look like me and share similar experiences,” she says.
