PRESIDENT

 

Lesslie V Terrell

Lesslie V Terrell was born and raised in Decatur, AL. She is a proud graduate of Auburn University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems in 2006. After graduation, Lesslie moved to Seattle, WA, where she started her career in Aerospace as an Industrial Engineer. After spending time in Seattle, her career sent her to Charleston, SC where she furthered her career as an Industrial Engineer and stepped into management roles in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. 

While in Charleston, Lesslie obtained her MBA from The University of South Carolina. After 17 years (4 years of college and 13 years in the industry), Lesslie moved back home to Alabama where she continues her career in Aerospace as a Program Manager. Lesslie has an array of accomplishments, including the Women of Color 2020 Rising Star and Black Employee of the Year 2022 Modern-Day Technology Leader awards. Lesslie has a passion for giving back and has long been a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, where she also served on the Advisory Committee. Her other public service activities include volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, local food banks, and the American Red Cross. In her leisure, Lesslie enjoys traveling, helping others, watching her beloved Auburn Tigers football (War Eagle!), organizing, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, mentoring youth, DIY projects, baking, and cooking. Her outgoing personality is contagious and causes others to gravitate toward her. 

Lesslie is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and values the importance of sisterhood, scholarship, and community service. Lesslie is truly excited about stepping into the role of Co-President of The Black Girl Social Club Huntsville chapter and looks forward to the future connections she will make with other amazing women of color. 

VICE PRESIDENT

Aneisha Flowers-Nolen

Aneisha Flowers- Nolen is a native of New Jersey. She moved to Huntsville AL, in 2000 to attend University of Alabama Huntsville where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Communication. She then continued her education at Capella University where she received a Master’s in Human Services with specialization in Social and Community Services. Aneisha has over 18 years of experience in the Social Service arena. In addition to her experience in social services, she recently added the title of Humans Service Board Certified Practitioner and Intentional Self Care Wellness Coach which has afforded her array of opportunities in the community, leadership, and the creator of Intentional Women’s Academy. She currently serves as the president of the Youth Services Council of Madison County, Co-founder of Youth Serving Youth of Madison County, and Co-owner of Marathon Investment Club. Although Aneisha loves serving her community, her most important and loved roles is being a mother and wife. When Aneisha is not serving, she enjoys spending time on her “she deck”, hanging with friends, shopping, and traveling. Aneisha is honored to be a part of the Huntsville chapter and is excited for the journey and growth of sisterhood.
